School Policies
Our policies ensure a safe, fair, and nurturing environment for every student. These policies are reviewed annually and updated as needed. All parents and students are expected to be familiar with these guidelines.
Admission Policy

Defines the criteria, process, and documentation required for admission to KidsValley Academy from Nursery to Class 10.
- 1Admission is open to all children irrespective of caste, creed, religion, or gender, subject to availability of seats.
- 2Age criteria: Children must meet the minimum age requirement as per SEBA guidelines for the respective class.
- 3Admission for Nursery–KG is based on interaction with parents; Class 1–10 requires a written assessment.
- 4Required documents: Birth certificate, Aadhaar card, previous school TC (if applicable), passport-size photographs, residence proof.
- 525% seats are reserved under RTE provisions for economically weaker sections.
- 6Admission forms are available at the school office and on the Resources page during the admission window (January–March).
- 7Transfer admissions during the academic session are considered on a case-by-case basis subject to seat availability.
Fee Policy

Outlines the fee structure, payment schedule, concessions, and refund policies applicable to all enrolled students.
- 1Annual fees are divided into quarterly instalments payable by the 10th of the first month of each quarter.
- 2Payment can be made via cash at the school counter, bank transfer, or UPI.
- 3A late fee of ₹50 per week is charged after the due date, up to a maximum of ₹200.
- 4Fee concession of up to 50% is available for economically weaker students upon submission of income certificate and application.
- 5Sibling discount: 10% on tuition fee for the second child enrolled simultaneously.
- 6No fee refund after 30 days of admission. Before 30 days, fees are refundable minus the admission fee and one month's tuition.
- 7Fee revision, if any, is communicated at least 3 months before the new academic session.
Attendance Policy

Sets expectations for student attendance, leave procedures, and the minimum attendance requirement for examinations.
- 1A minimum of 75% attendance is required to be eligible to appear in terminal and final examinations.
- 2Parents must inform the school in writing or via phone for any absence. Medical leave requires a doctor's certificate for absences exceeding 3 consecutive days.
- 3Half-day leave requests must be submitted through the school diary before 8:30 AM.
- 4Students arriving after 8:15 AM will be marked late. Three late marks equal one absent day.
- 5Extended leave (more than 7 days) requires prior written approval from the Principal.
- 6Attendance records are shared with parents in monthly progress reports and PTMs.
- 7Students below 60% attendance receive a written warning; below 50% may face detention or session repeat.
Discipline Policy

Establishes expected behaviour standards, code of conduct, and consequences for disciplinary violations.
- 1All students are expected to behave respectfully towards teachers, staff, and fellow students at all times.
- 2Uniforms must be worn properly on all school days. Non-uniform days are announced separately.
- 3Mobile phones are strictly prohibited on campus. If found, they will be confiscated and returned only to parents.
- 4Disciplinary actions follow a progressive approach: verbal warning → written warning → parent meeting → suspension → expulsion (for severe cases).
- 5Physical aggression, property damage, and substance use on campus are zero-tolerance offences leading to immediate suspension.
- 6Students must not leave the campus during school hours without written permission from the class teacher and office.
- 7A Discipline Committee reviews serious cases and recommends action to the Principal.
Anti-Bullying Policy

Defines bullying, outlines prevention measures, and establishes reporting and intervention procedures.
- 1Bullying in any form — physical, verbal, social, or cyber — is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.
- 2The school conducts regular awareness sessions for students on recognizing and reporting bullying.
- 3Any student who experiences or witnesses bullying can report it to their class teacher, school counsellor, or through the anonymous complaint box.
- 4All complaints are investigated within 48 hours by the designated Anti-Bullying Committee.
- 5Consequences for bullying range from counselling and community service to suspension, depending on severity and recurrence.
- 6Retaliation against students who report bullying is treated as a separate disciplinary offence.
- 7Parents are informed and involved in resolution for both affected and responsible students.
- 8The school counsellor provides support to affected students and conducts mediation where appropriate.
Safety & Security Policy

Details the measures taken to ensure physical safety, emergency preparedness, and secure environment for students and staff.
- 1CCTV surveillance covers all common areas, corridors, entry/exit points, and the school perimeter.
- 2All visitors must register at the front gate and wear a visitor badge. No unauthorized person is allowed inside the campus.
- 3Fire drills and earthquake drills are conducted quarterly. Emergency evacuation routes are marked throughout the building.
- 4First aid kits are available in every building. A trained first-aid responder is present during school hours.
- 5School transport follows a GPS-tracked route with an attendant on every bus. No child is dropped off without a designated receiver.
- 6Background verification is mandatory for all staff, drivers, and support personnel before employment.
- 7Child Protection Committee meets monthly to review safety protocols and address any concerns.
- 8Incident reports are maintained for all accidents, near-misses, and safety concerns for continuous improvement.
