KidsValley Academy follows the curriculum prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA). We offer comprehensive education from Nursery to Class 10 in both English and Assamese medium, ensuring students are well-prepared for their academic journey ahead.

Our academic framework emphasizes conceptual understanding, practical application, and holistic development. Beyond textbook learning, students engage in project work, laboratory experiments, creative activities, and co-curricular programs that complement classroom instruction.

SEBA Curriculum & Syllabus

As a SEBA-affiliated institution, KidsValley Academy strictly follows the curriculum and syllabus prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam. The curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded education that prepares students for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination.

The SEBA syllabus covers core subjects including:

  • Languages: English, Assamese (MIL), Hindi (optional)

Examination & Assessment System

Our assessment system combines continuous evaluation with periodic examinations to provide a comprehensive picture of student progress.

Internal Assessment (40%)

  • 1Unit Tests (3 per year): Conducted after each unit to assess conceptual understanding
  • 2Class Assignments: Regular homework, projects, and class participation
  • 3Practical Work: Laboratory experiments and practical assessments (Class 6–10)
  • 4Attendance & Conduct: Regular attendance and classroom behaviour

Formal Examinations (60%)

  • 1Half-Yearly Examination: Covers syllabus of first 6 months (September)
  • 2Annual Examination: Comprehensive exam covering full syllabus (March)
  • 3Pre-Board (Class 10): Mock board examination for HSLC preparation
  • 4HSLC Board Exam: External examination conducted by SEBA for Class 10

Promotion Policy

Students are promoted to the next class based on their overall performance in internal assessments and examinations. A minimum of 33% marks in each subject and 40% aggregate is required for promotion. Students who do not meet the criteria may be given a supplementary examination. Regular attendance (minimum 75%) is mandatory for appearing in examinations.
