KidsValley Academy believes that financial constraints should not hinder a child's education. We offer various scholarships and fee concessions to support deserving students from all backgrounds.
School Scholarships & Concessions
The following scholarships and fee concessions are offered directly by KidsValley Academy from its own funds.
Merit Scholarship
Eligibility
Students scoring 80%+ in annual examination or HSLC
Benefit
25% – 50% tuition fee waiver for the next academic year
Criteria & Conditions
- 80% – 89% aggregate: 25% tuition fee waiver
- 90% and above: 50% tuition fee waiver
- HSLC Distinction holders: Full tuition fee waiver in previous year (refund)
- Must maintain 75%+ attendance
- Good conduct and discipline record
Sibling Discount
Eligibility
Families with 2 or more children enrolled simultaneously
Benefit
10% tuition fee discount for second child, 15% for third child
Criteria & Conditions
- Both/all siblings must be currently enrolled
- Discount applies to the younger sibling(s)
- Applicable on monthly tuition fee only
- Valid for the duration of simultaneous enrollment
Economic Hardship Concession
Eligibility
Students from BPL families or single-parent households
Benefit
25% – 50% fee concession based on family income
Criteria & Conditions
- Valid BPL card or income certificate required
- Family annual income below ₹1,00,000
- Single parent / orphan students: up to 50% concession
- Subject to verification by School Management Committee
- Renewed annually upon submission of updated documents
Sports & Cultural Excellence
Eligibility
Students excelling in sports or cultural activities at district/state level
Benefit
25% tuition fee waiver
Criteria & Conditions
- Must have won prize at district or state level competition
- Certificate of achievement from recognized body required
- Must represent school in inter-school events
- Valid for one academic year, renewable based on continued excellence
Government Scholarships
Students of KidsValley Academy are also eligible for various state and central government scholarship schemes. The school assists in the application process.
Pre-Matric Scholarship (SC/ST/OBC)
Government of Assam / Government of India
Financial assistance for students of SC, ST, and OBC communities studying in Class 9 and 10.
How to apply: Apply through school. Forms distributed by class teacher in July–August.
National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS)
Ministry of Education, Government of India
Scholarship for meritorious students from economically weaker sections studying in Class 9–10 of government-aided schools.
How to apply: Competitive exam conducted for Class 8 students. Selected students receive ₹12,000/year.
Assam Government Free Education
Government of Assam
Free textbooks and uniforms for students up to Class 8 under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan / Samagra Shiksha.
How to apply: Automatically distributed through school for eligible students.
Minority Scholarship
Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India
Financial support for students from minority communities (Pre-Matric scholarship).
How to apply: Apply online through National Scholarship Portal (NSP). School provides attestation.
How to Apply for School Scholarships
Check Eligibility
Review the eligibility criteria for the scholarship you wish to apply for. Ensure you have the required documents and meet all conditions.
Collect Application Form
Scholarship application forms are available at the school office. For merit scholarships, eligible students are automatically identified after results.
Submit with Documents
Submit the completed form with supporting documents (income certificate, marksheet, caste certificate, etc.) to the school office.
Review & Approval
The School Management Committee reviews applications and announces approvals within 2–3 weeks. Fee adjustment is applied from the following month.
Important Information
- Scholarships are subject to availability of funds and may be modified each year.
- Only one school scholarship/concession can be availed at a time (the higher value applies).
- Government scholarships can be availed in addition to school concessions.
- Scholarship holders must maintain minimum 75% attendance and good conduct.
- Any disciplinary action may result in withdrawal of scholarship.
- For government scholarships, timelines are as per respective government notifications.
